Piercing Service Fees
Note: By Appointment! Text 814-420-4222 to schedule!
Pricing does not include cost of jewelry. Jewelry cost depends on what you choose. Jewelry pricing is available in studio. (There is no obligation nor rush to your decision.)
Note: I do not perform any exotic (genital) piercings, nor jewelry changes for such.
I also do not offer the following piercing services:
- Ashley Piercing (Inverse Vertical Labret)
- Surface Piercing (inc. surface bars, anchors, dermals) Due to rejection rate/scarring/& not really being a permanent piercing
- Frenulum Piercing (Smiley, Frowny, Web)- it causes too much irreversible damages & morally I cannot do so
- Snake Eye Tongue Piercing (never, ever do this, nope!)
If you'd like to inquire regarding a piercing not listed: Please text 814-420-4222

A birth certificate number (for the minor) is required on the legal consent form, along with a parent ID number. There is no way around this, asides from alternate legal custody; such as guardianship, adoption, custody, ...into which proof would be equally required to properly complete the legal consent form.
Age Requirement's for Minor Piercing Services:
* When scheduling: Please notate the piercing is for a minor, their age, & what piercing service they wish to have done. *
• Lobes: The minor is able to verbally consent they wish to have their lobes pierced & if they change their mind, I will not pierce them. I assure to work soley for them, by their wishes, & make it a fun, enjoyable experience. I do not believe in pressuring beyond their own personal choice.
** Why I have such policy & why I am anti-piercing gun/pressurized tool **
85% of ear lobe development isn’t done until the age of 3. Depending on differencing research, they aren’t fully developed until the age of 7-8, some scientific research shows 10.
Piercing too young can cause them to be too high/low as well as too far back the lobe/too close to the face & uneven overall, depending on how each individual lobe develops. (Nobody’s lobes are symmetrical/identical, nor technically even grow identically).
Young ones may also pull on their fresh wounds (piercings), not quite understanding what’s going on, & it maybe difficult to properly care for them.
Piercing guns are a blunt force trauma, basically the same as cattle tagging, & works by shoving the sharp piece of jewelry through the tissue, pushing tissue out of its way (versus removing it with a hollow point needle), creating scarring, & avoidable problems that could lead to infection. Was yours done that way? Remove your jewelry & massage the area. Feel that ball? Thats the tissue that had no where to go. (For cartilage-ears, nose-it shatters it) Piercing guns are also not able to be properly sterilized through an autoclave, as they would melt. Unless you gain implant grade titanium jewelry and/or they have Mill Certs to prove theirs contains no nickel, you could also potentially encounter infection-like symptoms, due to a metal allergy. Butterfly backs also harbor bacteria and can also become too taunt (keep in mind 'lil ones are not able to vocalize such). I’ve witnessed them become imbedded more than a few times, sadly. The sharp posts aren’t comfortable, if your minor child side sleeps, & depending on length and anatomy, the sharp post has potential to constantly poke/stab.
Piercers that use such method (guns) are also typically trained by a video and do not understand differing anatomy & how to properly pierce straight, according to such, nor do they typically have their BBP (Blood Bourne Pathogens) to know about/avoid cross contamination.
My suggestion is to wait until they wish to have it done & is able to provide their own consent. It is such a fun & memorable experience that’s truly worth the wait and more importantly, the safety & overall outcome.
• Other Ear Piercings & Nostril Piercings: I'm usually pretty flexible when it comes to most other ear piercings. I feel if the parent feels it's something their child is mature & responsible enough to receive & hygienically will care for; they understand the healing process/time, ...then ultimately it should be the decision of the minor and parent, also as long as their anatomy permits.
• Navel Piercings: 16+
Why? A young female’s body goes through “changes”. They grow taller and hips widen. Therefore, if it’s preformed too early, the piercing channel gets stretched in both directions and does not “elasticize” back, meaning it becomes wider and the jewelry becomes “floppy”. Therefore, the length of tissue becomes thinner and shorter. I’m about the client, no matter the age, no matter the money. If it’s this way for females, it must also remain the same for males. (biologically speaking in regards to assigned sex at birth, not gender)***
* Anatomy sometimes prevents piercing service, due to the inability to properly heal/longevity of the piercing
